One Year Since the Reconstructed Riga Motor Museum Has Been Opened

On Saturday, 1 July, will be a year since the day when the reconstructed CSDD Riga Motor Museum has opened its doors for visitors and has become the largest and the most technologically advanced antique car museum in the Baltic states.

Almost 200 thousand of people have already visited the museum, which is triple more than before the reconstruction in 2012. Motor Museum invites you to celebrate it all together and enjoy an interactive and educational trip to the world of motors.

In honour to the anniversary, excursions with guides will be provided gratis. For visitors it will be a unique opportunity to see the museum, get acquainted with exciting stories behind the antique vehicles and its history guided by a professional guide. The excursions will take place each hour starting from 10 am to 5 pm. The excursions will last for one hour. It is not necessary to book it beforehand. 

Kids will be especially welcomed to the museum, as they will have a chance to participate in  a special orientation game with their families. Meanwhile, on the special kids playground, apart from the already existing attractions, there will be an additional workshop where kids can design their own RAF minibuses. All the participants will receive sweet presents. 

The visit to the museum is a-whole-day journey. Going through the museum for several times, you can find new interesting details. You can plan the attendance to the museum for 2 hours, however, some visitors spend here more than 4 hours. After the amazing walk throughout the museum and different kind of activities, the Motor Museum cafeteria will offer you a cup of coffee.
